Lake Methodist Church has “a heart for Jesus and for you”. It is in the centre of Lake and provides worship and community activities for those who live in and around the building. There is level access into and through the building. Worship on Sunday mornings begins at 10.30 with a community of welcoming people who are open to God’s leading in their lives.

We enjoy both traditional and newer hymns and the style of the Sunday morning worship will vary depending on the Minister, Local Preacher or Worship Leader. We welcome people for Baptisms which generally take place on Sunday mornings, and for weddings when arranged.

Holy Communion is celebrated once a month when our Minister leads worship. We enjoy celebration and festival services such as church anniversaries, Harvest, Christmas carol services, as well as other ‘special’ services planned through the year.

We have a prayer table with a book to fill in requests which are included in the prayers of intercession on Sunday mornings, and also a prayer net where you are invited to tie a ribbon as a sign of prayer.

The church also runs several community activities. For more details, photos, etc. please see our own website www.lakemethodist.org.uk
