Bembridge Methodist Church is a church with a heart for worship, service and fellowship. We average a congregation of approximately 50 each week.
Our music group includes piano, drums, violin, clarinet, oboe saxaphone and flute providing a great combination with which to sing.
Everyone is welcome and together we can explore the Christian faith, learn to serve Jesus through worship on Sundays, during the week, and in smaller housegroups. We discover ways of being disciples through prayer and by meeting the needs of people in the community and the world. We have events and activities for all ages and as a ‘family’ we enjoy being together socially, having fun, and caring for each other. Whether you are working, living or holidaying in Bembridge, we look forward to welcoming you to worship and events at Bembridge Methodist Church.
Our services are normally at 10.30 every Sunday morning.

Friday 7am Men's prayer meeting.
Evening Housegroup Reminder. 7.30pm every Tuesday evening at Andrea and Jeremy Bloxham’s home. All welcome for hopefully an insightful and enjoyable bible study and fellowship.
- Café Church
Café Church is our friendly and informal weekly Bible Study, held at the church on Wednesdays from 10-10:30 for a hot drink and chat, then we have a time of prayer followed by a discussion centred around the readings from the previous Sunday and the points raised in the sermon. We usually finish around 11:30. This is a good opportunity to catch up on a service you may have missed or delve deeper into some of the issues. All are welcome.
- Rock Solid
Rock Solid started in the 1990s and was originally aimed at young people aged 11-14: but on the Isle of Wight it tends to attract and be aimed at 9-12 year olds (school years 5, 6, 7 and sometimes Year 8).
Rock Solid runs in school term time on Wednesday evening 6.30-7.45pm.
Rock Solid involves organised games and activities often with a theme (like “Scapegoats”, “Families” etc.) and usually features a Bible based “thought for the day”.
Rock Solid usually meets at Bembridge Methodist but sometimes makes use of local facilities e.g. St Helens Duver for wide games, Steyne Park for ball games, Tackt-Isle Adventures for water sports and Ryde Superbowl for ten pin bowling.
A.J.Careless Solicitors will be holding their ‘Legal Advice Drop in Centre’ in the Church Hall every second and fourth Tuesday in every month from 2.00 to 4.00pm. To use this service you may either make an appointment by telephoning 873188 or 852626 or simply come along.
Taizé is on Tuesday 7p.m at The Cloisters. An hour of Taizé
style worship, Bible readings and prayers for others. All welcome to this
monthly ecumenical gathering.
Renewal Prayer Gathering
Following the Exploring Renewal weekend in November, a monthly prayer
meeting has been set up for the circuit to pray specifically for renewal in the
lives of individuals and in our churches on the Island. All are welcome. It is an
informal time with some worship and usually lasts for around an hour.
