Established in 1864 we are in the centre of the main shopping street in the town and the congregation increases significantly during the summer months because of the easy access for visitors to Shanklin.
It has a very traditional look but recently the old Victorian screen that obscured the interior of the church from the outside, has been removed and replaced by double glass doors which allow easier access and a lovely view of the beautiful stained-glass window that was installed over the altar in 1964 to mark the hundredth anniversary. We have a mostly older congregation with young hearts and a passion to serve and worship God. We are open daily from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. from April to October for quiet reflection or prayer. Sunday worship begins at 10.30a.m. All are most welcome.
