Methodists in Binstead have been meeting on the present site since 1866 and in the current building since 1889. We are a small, friendly and welcoming church, traditional in our style of worship but never averse to trying anything new and faithful to the Gospel. Our mission is to proclaim Jesus Christ as the true revelation of God and reflect His love to the people of Binstead. We do this by encouraging and participating in worship which is relevant, challenging, thoughtful and participatory. We care through practical and pastoral work and pray for each other and the people of Binstead.

Since celebrating our centenary we have undertaken many projects to refurbish and upgrade the premises to make them suitable for the present age. Fundraising has made us work well together, we have had fun with many interesting and innovative projects. Looking back, we can see that our times of greatest spiritual growth have been when we have been tested and short of funds. God has been faithful to us and supplied our needs.
