East Cowes Methodist Church is a friendly, outgoing church. The congregation on a Sunday is between 25 – 30. The children from the Sunday Club join in the first part of each service which combines aspects of modern and forward looking with the more traditional styles of worship. Once a month we hold a Tea service at 3pm, a short time of worship followed by tea and fellowship.
The church building dates from 1878 and has been serving the local community ever since. We are currently undertaking an ongoing refurbishment of the building which will make it a more welcoming space for our own fellowship and that of the community.
We open the church each Thursday morning to the local community for a Coffee Morning. This has an average attendance of approximately 40 each week.
Our young people also meet together with the young people from Cowes Methodist Church approximately every other month for fun and fellowship and these links are now growing and developing.
