Child's Play
For younger children up to 11 years old and inspired by the ideas of Godly Play we begin with everyone (children and parents) gathering on the floor around the telling of a story. The children are involved in the story with the use of models and props, a key element of this style of worship is the sense of wonder, children are asked to imagine and to take an active part. A time of craft follows, based on the story. Parents are encouraged to be involved throughout the worship. We conclude with each person offering a prayer.
Families from any denomination or none are very welcome to join us.
